MGP Board Director, Dimitris Magemeneas, has a long history of volunteerism towards youth, sports and educational causes. Currently an Adjunct Professor in Business at CSUSM, Dimitris also volunteer teaches high school students via Junior Achievement and was their “2016 Volunteer of the Year.” He has previously served the City of San Marcos as a Planning Commissioner from 2017-2018, a Director for its Chamber of Commerce from 2012-2014, and a Director for its Economic Development Corporation from 2009-2011. Dimitris currently volunteers as VP for his community HOA, and volunteer coaches for High Five America, another 501c3 organization founded to help keep kids away from drugs and gangs.
Also known as “Money Man” due to his profession as a Wealth Manager, Dimitris's full-time occupation is Regional Managing Director for the national RIA firm, Kingsview Asset Management. In this role, the Money Man manages over $30 million for individual clients and their families on a fee-only, no commission basis.
As the original founder of MGP back in 2015, Dimitris is the driving force behind the project's organization, development, fundraising and volunteer recruitment. He leads the monthly Board of Directors meetings and has overall responsibility for all aspects of MGP's management.
MGP Director, Michael Winter is a lifetime resident of North San Diego County and has resided in San Marcos since 1995. Raising five kids together, Michael, his wife and family have been highly engaged in youth sports and the local community. Currently the Board Chair for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA‐San Diego) and a member of the San Diego Mountain Rescue Team. Having served as a Board Member, Director, and Volunteer for a number of organizations, Michael is applying his experience and connections toward the development and execution of the vision that is MegaGamePlex.
Since 2000, Michael has worked full‐time in the Real Estate Industry and currently owns/operates Hillside Properties, located in San Marcos as an Associate Broker of Keller Williams La Jolla. In addition to serving local clients, Michael serves as a Productivity Coach and is the Regional Representative (Southern California) for Keller Williams' Agent Leadership Council. His daily connection with families and the homes where they live and grow contributes to his passion for MGP's vision of making our community healthier, stronger, better.
Sonny Mathew has been passionate in his desire for volunteer work and in helping others in need or where his skills or presence could be of help to others. In the past, Mr. Mathew has been involved with non-profit organizations like "Skills for Change" and "Multicultural Neighborhood Social Services" in Toronto, Ontario, where he has served as a Board Director, mentor and instructor from 1998 to 2005, involved with helping new immigrants settle down faster in Canada. During this period, he has been instrumental in training more than 500 immigrants in accounting software, Microsoft Office products, mentoring them in job interviewing skills, resume preparation, and securing employment.
Mr. Mathew has been a member of the Rotary Club of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and was involved in projects for helping the needy in the local community. He has served the club in the position of President, Treasurer and Secretary from 1997 to 2005.
Sonny Mathew is an accountant by profession with excellent credentials. He is a Chartered Accountant from India, a CPA from Canada and a CPA from the USA. Mr. Mathew has more than 30 years of national and global accounting experience in a multicultural and multilingual environment. He has held various positions globally in diverse organizations and industries, from an Accountant to that of a CFO.
Mr. Mathew is currently involved with MGP as a member of the Board and is looking forward to serving the youth of the San Marcos community and the Vista neighborhood in any way possible.
DeNee Logan is from Tucson, Arizona where he attended the University of Arizona for Business Management. He started his career in the commercial interiors business in 1988, moving to San Diego in 1999 and San Marcos in 2006. He currently lives in San Ejlio area with his beautiful wife Xiaoping Logan. He has two children — his youngest daughter Katherine just graduated from the University of Arizona College of Architecture.
DeNee was introduced to the commercial interior furniture industry by a good friend and was attracted to the challenge it offered — it is something that allows him to work with all types of people in the work force. That was over 30 years ago and DeNee still loves the people and the challenges. His areas of expertise are his ability to come up with solutions and hard work for customers such as local cities, state and federal government as well as higher education areas.
He currently works for a locally owned company called Parron Hall for the past 16 years which he calls his 2nd family. He has worked on several large construction projects and the one he is very proud of is the new San Diego Central Courthouse, his largest project to date. DeNee's experience and wisdom are attributes that his coworkers and clients appreciate every day.
DeNee has been a member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association), IFMA (International Facility Management Association), SAME (Society of American Military Engineers), United We Paint and currently volunteers once a month at the San Diego VA hospital. DeNee is quite passionate about his physical and mental health, which he keeps in shape in part by tending to hobbies — running, climbing mountains, hiking and road cycling. He also is very passionate about traveling and seeing the world and has been to China, Europe, Spain and Tahiti with his wife. When not out running around, he enjoys working on updating his home with the latest technology making it a smart home and energy-efficient.
